Long black: use the short shot button, then top up with hot water by running your machine without a pod in it.

Nespresso Original What does the o-ring do, and when should I replace it?
The o-ring sits around the shoulder of the lid and helps seal the pod during brewing, which reduces water leaking into the used pod catcher.
If it's sealing well, keep using it. Replace it when it looks worn, stretched, damaged, loose, no longer sits neatly, or if it goes missing during cleaning.
To fit a new one: remove the old ring, place the new ring around the shoulder of the lid and make sure it sits flat and is not twisted.
